What it means
- (i) An app signs up only for intents it can handle without another app and that users would expect from what it does. A meal planning app, for example, would not add an intent to start a workout, even if it links to a fitness app.
- (ii) The vocabulary and phrases in the plist must relate to the app and to the Siri functionality of its registered intents. Aliases must relate directly to the app or company name, and must neither be generic terms nor mention third-party apps or services.
- (iii) The request or Shortcut is resolved as directly as possible, with no ads or other marketing between request and fulfillment. Disambiguation is requested only when needed to complete the task, such as asking which type of workout.
